Happy Valentines Day folks, Hopefully you are doing something with your sweetie! We did Valentines this past Saturday since doing stuff during the week was not an option. What have i missed? What are yall working on?

I am starting to learn how to tune carbs however, still don't know if my problem is a vacuum leak or something else.

No truck work, still acquiring stuff for our 40 ft diesel pusher motorhome so we can go camping. Not sure it's really camping but I'll take it.

The lighted outside handle has shipped! It will take a few days to get it but that will be another thing off the list. The wife was impressed with everything I have done so far.

Took the day off of work, exhausted and my joints are really hurting. Going to mess around the house some after the wife heads off to some chicken thing she is going too. I may try to service the motorhome generator since I have everything for it now.

The weather people said above average temps for the next 3 months. They said that about the winter months and it did not work out too well. I think it has been extra cold this winter.

I cleaned the pool. I pulled the starter off the tractor and will see whats going on with it later. I changed the oil in the suburban and did a quick wash. I got the fog light bulbs replaced in the motorhome and now both of the them work again. Changed the air filter on the motorhome generator. I tried changing the oil but the drain plug is stuck. Worked on trying to get it off till it started raining and I called it a day.

The lighted exterior handle is suppose to arrive sometime today. Going to try and change the oil in the 4 wheeler and in the motorhome generator if I can get the plug out. Worst case is to suck it out the oil with the oil sucker thing I have for the boat. The next thing on the list is to fix the sink faucet in the motorhome, It leaks around the handle when you turn it on.

Didn't really get anything done yesterday that I was planning on. I did a little yard clean up and the wife helped me move the motorhome. We did do a little shopping for rugs, storage containers and various other little things. The exterior handle came in so I am going to try and get that installed today. Trying to get an early start wrapping things up since the Daytona 500 is today! I use to live a little over an hour from there growing up and super speedways are my favorite.

Think I am going to root for Chase now since he is a GA boy! Would love to see him win his first race at Daytona.

well Chase winning not going to happen today.
I drove up to Stockbridge to look at my buddies place and the"barn" . It not much bigger than my shed, but does have some good project wood and tin. He has enough temperd glass for the solar kiln.

cleaning up his place is more than favor for favor. They have a 2000 2500 chevy box van(old Penske) that has some decent tools in it. Going to try and work a deal with his mom she provides the dumpster and I do the clean for truck and everything inside.

I am also going to help him sell a 73 or 74 VW super bettle ragtop limited edition

I got the exterior handle mounted finally. I cut my finger and scratched the paint when a drill bit broke. The new one came with a wiring harness to light it up but the old was was not powered. I just mounted it for now and may look at getting it to light up later on.

Could not get the generator drain plug out. It has a pipe plug and it's recessed just enough to not be able to get anything else on it. Plus someone along the way messed it up a little.

Figured out why the new tractor starter was binding and fixed that problem. Now I am going to get the threads fixed on the mounting bracket and I should be back in business.
