Yah. Just a tad warmer. OAT is 36 right now, and the bird baths did NOT freeze this morning. I think the cloud cover kept it just warm enough.

Colder today. High is expected to be 52* but it is only 40* right now. Not sure it will make that high.

It was below 32 for about 8 hours last night here at about 700 feet of elevation on the eastern slope of the Santa Cruz Mtns. It's been the coldest nights of the year around here lately.

Last Sat we fired up the brick and mortar pit smoker out back and spent the day keeping the temp close to 225. I smoked a pork shoulder and some sassages' and some ribs and everything turned out great.

Happy Friday Nor Cal! Rain is gone, sun is out, it is a good day. No rain now until Monday according to the weather guessers.

Our weather station reported a low of 30.5 this morning. It also tracks something called the "apparent" temperature (kind of a combination of wind chill, heat index, and other things) that bottomed out at 23.3 this morning. Yes, the bird baths were frozen solid, and the hail from yesterday afternoon was still piled on the decks; it looked like snow.

Still cold this morning, but no rain. No smog either, but that will not last long.

BBQ'd a couple tritips last night, fire pit roaring....not feeling the best today, late night. Perfect day to relax and watch the race. Going to hit the ranges Wednesday, dust off the AR and take my new Kimber out for the first time. Alquist Arms in Turlock has a good deal on 9mm and .40 ammo, 1000 round boxes, anyone looking to stock up. Anywho, have a good day fellers

Sounds nice. Going to cook up some Chicken Cordon Bleu tonight. I think we have some avacado for the salad too. Sunday night at the movies with my sweetie beside me.

Doesn't do me any good... I run a little smaller... besides, I've got enough to last for the foreseeable future already... still trying for 100 with 10x on the hundred-yard range... maybe someday
