Well, I've tried searching, and not had much luck. My 78 F150 Custom cab 4x4 has the optional under-dash courtesy/map lamps, however my bulbs are missing entirely, and I've been unable to identify which are the correct sized bulbs. Any help is appreciated. Working on clearing out all the wiring ground issues that intermittently pop up, and fixing a lot of no-no's that were done in wiring repairs, such as the countless wiring nuts used to reattach cut wires.
#631 = 1975/76 // #89 = 1977/79. Both have 6 candlepower.
There is no such thing as a #216 bulb used for any purpose on 1973/79's. See 13465-6 in lower pic (this info is missing in Rich's pic, because it's been cropped).
Does anyone have a picture of this light? I found something in my glove box that I've been trying to determine where it goes and there's a bulb just kinda hanging from the dash below..

Not sure if they all came wired for it, haven't yet investigated that (only owned dents for 30 years, get around to it one of these days )
On the one that has/had them, one socket was basically gone (similar plastic to the guage cluster?) and the other one was pretty anemic - it has a couple clear-lensed oval lights on a tin bracket under the dash, big improvement. Again, been going to add those to the other one without lights, just never got around to it. If it has the wiring it'd literally be a 10 minute job.....
... to keep from holding a flashlight between their lips to read a map or look for the Tootsie Roll that fell out of the wrapper while driving at night.

To my knowledge, they all have a plugin at the headlight switch, to add lights requires the sockets & harness.

"Read a map": does anybody even do that anymore?
Hah, you get spoiled riding in newer stuff, I guess.
