Hey Everybody,
I have a 1996 F-250 CC LB 4x4 7.3 that I bought about six months ago. Ever since I bough it, it brakes have been "sticky". When you hit the brakes and let off, the brakes stay applied, almost like cruise control on brakes. I looked into fixing it and discovered both front rotors had four or five cracks, so I replaced them, one of the calipers and the brake hoses. This improved them a little but they are still "sticky". Any ideas what to try next?? Thanks.
Take the master cyl off, and stick a screw driver in where it sits in the booster
turn the screw to the left a turn or two, then put it back together
road test
You may have to repeat many times, may have to turn in, out, whatever direction, until the booster hits and releases properly
