Restoration project needs help

First off thanks for the add to the group and any help that could be given to the project.

I am a fireman with a long history of paint, body and mechanical experience going back 25 years. With that my local labor union and retires have ask if I could help getting one of the old department trucks back to "road worthy" status. Their hope is this truck will be used for our departments current and retired members final ride. As you may imagine, that request has pulled me into the project but I need help determining all the components so I can find parts.

Vin # F75WU400214
WB 174
Color J (red)
Model F756
Body 81A
Trans J
Axle H7E

What I could use is what you'd expect .... Engine size and carb.... Trans type..... Rear axle size and ratio?

Again any help would be great thanks!
