Turn signal cam repair
Hey all, doing a steering column project. I have one broken tab on the signal cancel and am wondering if it's best to replace the whole thing or if the Dorman repair kit has been successful?

I used the Dorman signal cam kit and it turned out well. I believe that the complete assembly is the better complete "fix". However the Dorman cam is doing its job for me.
But I must say, these cams are after market and made for many makes and models of vehicles. I had to cut approximately 1/16" off two of the whiskers so they would fit and turn freely. I would suggest, if you go this rout, to measure your clearances and cut carefully.
It can be done and it was a quick inexpensive "fix" for me. I hope this helps
