Turn Signal Problem.....Help!!

I'm replacing my turn signal cam today and I was looking underneath where it sits when it's installed and there where these two thin metal strips about 1 5/16" long X 3/16" wide just laying there. Anybody have an idea about where they are supposed to go before I put this back together? Oh yeah, it's an '86 f-250. That might help!

They go under the turn signal cam, you will see two slots for them. They are for the contacts.

this place has the complete replacement for under $60 and the cam for under $10.

I'll make the sugestion that you go with the full kit when replacing that item. I did the one on my truck a few years ago and it screwed up everything trying to go cheap and put in just the cam. The wireing in there is so tight that one little mised connection causes all kinds of trouble.

But other than that ya they should be the contact strips and they should be wired to something.
