Yes it’s original motor and it did have the A/C option and the idler pulley bracket is the one on the left side. So that leads me to believe they are referring to brake booster.
Whatever Marti is referring to, it cannot be a P/B booster. The master cylinder bolts to the booster that bolts to the firewall.
If this was an F350, it might have a Hydro-Vac, but this is a remote mounted booster located on the frame rail.

Are you referencing the two holes in your alternator bracket as missing something? They were for another adjustable belt idler pulley. Note in Bill's pic a 8678 assembly (8680,2884,2876,and 8687) that mounts to the 10A313 bracket.
I pointed this out when I posted the pic. OP thinks this is where the vacuum pump/brake booster was mounted.
In two words: IM POSSIBLE!
Actually no that’s not what I was thinking. I was wondering what the report was refering too. I initially believed it to be the option of power brakes titled as a vacuum assist but was wondering if there was some reason for a vacuum pump for additional vacuum (such as you find on older diesels) due to the empty bracket spot. Then someone said it maybe an air pump for emissions. I still leaned towards just different wording for Brake booster. Never thought the brake booster would be mounted any where other than the MC.
When you showed me the A/C schematic I realized that the bracket was for the a/c idler pulley. That’s why I said “So that leads me to believe they [Marti] are refering to brake booster.” I was Never thinking brake booster would be installed on the bracket just a vacuum or air pump possibly.
I do appreciate the schematics as it’s giving a better picture of how this truck was originally put together. Former owner hacked it up pretty good.

No I was saying that it’s obvious that bracket is for a idler pulley (now that I’ve seen the schematic) and that I believe the wording in Marti report was for Brake booster since power brakes were an option.
"Former owner hacked it up pretty good." This has happened to so many of us, so many times, that I think there must be a book "How to screw it up for Dummies" out there in the glove box (left by the previous owner).

The hardest part I found is I don’t have anything to compare it to cause no one around here has a Bump. So I appreciate diagrams...but still it’s a pain. The last owner sprayed cheap black flat paint on a beautiful deluxe two tone original paint that was in good shape, all the XLT Trim and bumpers and wires in the engine bay. . No dents. So I thought easy to remove right? Oh yeah only to expose he used an orbital sander with 60 or 40 grit to “give it some bite” including the chrome bumper and of course hitting all lights and trim

That PO deserves a ride in the "short bus". Or a ride to the water so he can take a long walk on a short pier.
