e40d problems after rebuild

Odd problem. Rebuilt the trans in my sons 1994 f250 460. Initial test drive went really good. Went through all gears for 20 minutes with out bouncing our heads off the back window. We decide to push the OD button to off. The truck down shifts kind of hard after the button is pushed. 10 minutes later we stop at a red light seems like it is either slipping or is trying to start off in a higher gear. There are no codes. Takes about 3/4 throttle to get it moving. Any help would be appreciated. I have been searching this site for 3 days now as a guest and decided to register and start a thread.

Please define your statement "no codes". At the very least you should have gotten the System Pass Code 111 for KOEO and if no stored codes then 111 again. Anything less means you did not perform the tests correctly, poor contacts with the data link connector or you have a bad computer.

Did you build the trans? What happens in m1,m2 and R gears?

sorry i got 111 use to another forum that they tease you for saying that.

manually 1 and 2 are better but takes quite a bit of pedal maybe 1/4 throttle. reverse grabs like it should. I was going to do all the updates but it had them in it already. just replaced clutches and steels new TC,seals orings, thrust washers and bearings. fluid and filter.
