I have a 1996 f150 xlt 4x4. So I just had my transmission rebuilt. And when I got the truck back I wanted to check and make sure my 4 wheel was working. When I put the truck in 4 wheel high and accelerate quickly I sometimes hear a scrapping or grinding noise coming from the front passenger side of the truck. Keep in mind I have manual warn locking hubs. But when I put it low range it doesn't do it. And it also doesn't do it all of the time. My 4 wheel is working though because if I gun it I'll spin the tires in the mud.
i didnt mean axle bearing i meant ujoint in center of ttb, its actually a bearing too needle bearings in the caps. but i just miss typed and said bearing instead of ujoint.
