Coolant leak

1993 f350 460 has a coolant leak from the short hose that goes from water pump to intake doesn't leak when truck is run on a regular basis only when truck sits for a couple days. Replaced hose made no change any ideas would be appreciated

Well seeing that you live in Virginia you probably need those hoses going to the intake. Just replace those hoses. But if you have a bunch of corrosion and rust, you could cap those fittings off and not have to deal with it anymore. It's meant to help the intake not freeze when it's cold. Your call.

I would NOT cap them, VA can get cold from time to time and that could be an issue

two things come to mind ...
1. smooth out the mating surface of the spigots with sandpaper.
2. if you are re-using some sort of factory spring-clamps get rid of them and use screw-type hose clamps.
