CEL random

For the last year I'm getting a random cel... usually happens while cruising. If you accelerate it goes away.. if you brake it goes away..

any ideas?

there is literally no way to tell what it is without putting a scanner on and looking for stored codes.

pulled codes:
DTCs in IC: U1059, U1262, B1352, B2658, B1318

DTCs in PCM: P0603, P1316, P0541

DTCs in GEM: P1876

Also ran some tests... got a P1273 and P1275 from injector electrical self test.

Also did KOER Switch Self Test and got P1536, P0220, P1780, P0571, P0703, P0565, P0566, P0567, P0568, P0569, P0541

also did a KOER cylinder contr test: P0248, P0541

Not sure what all these mean... but please let me know if you have any insight.

Are you sure they are all current?
If you haven't done so, it may not be a bad idea to write them all down and clear them to see what comes back.

Clear them and run the truck for a bit longer to see what comes back. There is a button at the bottom of the screen to delete them.

Also, regarding the recurring CEL... I have been paying a little closer attention and it seems to come on when the boost is around 5 to 10 psi and will stay on unless you accelerate or slow down.

well you'll love this...

i went out and cleared all the codes... the P1273 and P1275 codes came back... So, i went to the wire harness and wiggled the wire harness near the UVCH connection on the passenger side. ReRan the test.. the codes did not come back... So, I guess I need a new UVCH for the passenger side. I did the drivers side a little over a year ago.

All this stuff came back though: KOER Switch Self Test and got P1536, P0220, P1780, P0571, P0703, P0565, P0566, P0567, P0568, P0569, P0541

I went back and read my old thread about loss of power when I had the new injectors put in about a year ago.... turns out I was getting the same P1273 and P1275 codes then as well... strange....
