I'm looking at buying a set of 4 tires for my 1995 F150. It's a 5.0, 5 speed, 4x4, SuperCab, 8 foot bed. Stock suspension, factory 15 inch wheels.
I am wondering if I can fit 32x11.5x15s on it. The truck has the turning radius of a freight train, so I don't want any rubbing. I know 33s will rub and 31s will fit. Can anyone confirm or deny that 32s will fit?
Tires fit every one of these trucks a little differently.. that is what production tolerances were back when they were built. 31x10.5 tires rubbed both trailing arms on my '90 at full lock and I know others here have mentioned occasionally that a tire may rub one side and not the other. 32" tires is the biggest that will "fit" a 1/2 ton 4x4 without suspension mods but I think it is accepted that they will rub pretty bad at full lock.
Thanks for the replies, much appreciated. If there is going to be any rubbing at all, I'm going to go with 31s. I don't want to mess with wheel spacers and I'm not ready to lift the truck. As far as availability, I can get BFG KO2s in a 31 and a 32, but I certainly don't mind paying less for the 31s.
