Question tires

what is the absolute biggest tire that will fit a stock 81 f-150 4x4?
I believe I saw 32-11.5-15's on a mid 90's
Arent the frames and suspensions exactly the same?
I thought the biggest tire was a 31-10.5-15
any help would be great

thanks

I have 31's on my 84 4x4 and theres lots of room in there. nickmobile67 has 32's on his but said he needed a differant backspacing on his wheels to prevent rubbing. I dont know though, looking at mine I'd think 33's would fit with no lift. Maybe a little rubbing when going hard, I dunno.

31x10.50 is the most on a 4x4 before they start rubbing.
