Have a king ranch I just bought. Salesman said it had free WiFi for 3 months. How and where do I find this? This is the king ultimate. Think the only thing I don't have is adaptive cruise. 2017 model year
Thanks. Salesman confused. I always give benefit of the doubt to these guys but I really don't believe they know their product at all. Or just enough too be dangerous.

I have a platinum Ultimate. And many other options, including the after-market VSS Ford remote start that sends a text to me when I get a security breech (and I spend $49.99)
There is no WiFi in a 2017 Ford SuperDuty, King Ranch or not.

Looks like it is available on certain models of the 18’ F150
Ford will soon release an ODBII dongle that you can put in any '10-18 Ford, Lincoln or Mercury product and get the same services.
It's called SmartLink and will supposedly replace the RemoteAccess (subscription and VSS/RMU hardware) that many have added to their trucks and cars over the years.
Seems like I remember reading somewhere that 2018 Super Dutys equipped with Sync 3 have an onboard cellular modem now, it’s just not usable until a later software release. That would explain the substantial Sync 3 price increase for 2018.

I searched around a bit, can't seem to find this, can you dig up where you saw that? Very interesting...
I have a wifi hotspot on my '17. It's called my Iphone.
I agree. For the $20/month AT&T charges for the data plan, you could just add another line to your plan for the same cost and leave it in the truck for the kids to tether to.....or just use your everyday phonemikebaby
