If that ain't country, I'll kiss your ***

OK I stole the title from an old David Allen Coe song, But this old made from parts engine purrs like a kitten. At first it was really loud, but I found some mufflers out in the junk pile. So much quieter now and it almost runs silent. I ground and lapped the valves and adjusted them no less than 4 times because I wanted one of those flatheads that didn't look like it was running. In the spring it will be going in a tonner PU project (after the woodie is done)

Does she have a sister? LOL Spare parts is far better than buying them.

That said if my Cylinder heads have Made in Canada on them does it mean it is a mercury motor?

Remember that GB's wife is a welder in addition to being a shop cleaning assistant so make sure the sister is too!

I usually need a technical assistant, so I'll get my son to shoot a video. And Bernette, I don't know about a hole in the pan. I think mine have a triangular stamped steel thing up front as a breather. Maybe someone can school us on what's up.
