I am gonna make my 1960 f600 into a dump. Scored a Chelsea PTO, Parker pump, two twin stage cylinders, and 15 foot bed and tank for a song, $500. My question is PTO for the t98. I have a 6 bolt cover on passenger side. My internet searches have ended in ambiguity and dead ends. Recommendations?

 

Is the PTO not the same mounting? There are adapters for some applications.
I normally get the numbers off of the transmission and PTO. Then call my local Chelsea distributor. They tell me if it will or won't work. Some times the drive gear can be changed in order to use the PTO on a different transmission. They get me the parts or PTO to make it work.

 

The PTO that came with package is s 6 bolt. I will follow you advice. A good old fashioned phone call should alleviate slot of ???.
