Hello All,
I have read about using a 90's door seal on our dent and is a good thing. Here is my question.Has anyone found a gasket/seal that can be used between the back side of the hood and the firewall/cowl? Maybe something from mustang, crown vic, mini van full size van or heaven forbid chevy, dodge or toyota. Yes I know DC or lmc have the correct seal but Im cheap and want something else that might work. Any help or info will be greatly appreciated.. Thanks Chris
I got one from "rubbertherightway" on ebay for about 18.00.
I haven't installed it yet, but I think you have to cut off the clip on the very end.

yup yup ditto used it on the Sons F100, cut one piece off, but make sure it's the correct side and that the rest of the clips line up as there's no going back.
If you're cheaper than $20 I had to replace the door seal on my 2011 Fusion and I picked up a replacement at the junkyard. I took the bad one and put it on the hood. It works but not 100%.
