Question FX package tuned shocks.

I am ready to order a new 2018 F-350 King Ranch from my broker, After configuring my truck, the Ford site suggested I get the 3.55 locking differential and the FX package for the down hill speed limiting package. The FX package states that the shocks are tuned for off-road use. How will that affect the ride on pavement? I am purchasing the truck to tow a 5th wheel.

(I sell Fords for a living, so here goes.) The FX4 package is going to effect the ride minimally. It will cause a slightly stiffer ride on pavement unloaded. With the trailer connected you really won't notice any difference in how the truck drives/rides. As for the DHA, that only works up to 20-25 mph off road. The 6.7L comes with a factory engine brake that works automatically, or on command. There's really no real reason to get the 3.55 locking rear unless you plan on taking the trailer off road on a regular basis. After that, the biggest thing I suggest for that type of work is the cab mounted camera.
