I keep a log book in our camper of all the place we've been, sights seen, mileage on camper, and comments on campgrounds.

Just remember everything added is more weight it's easy to creep up towards max capacity, leave room for the oats.

My wife thought I was nuts when I was looking for lightweight Titanium cookware. I weighed my trailer before I started adding stuff and I had plenty of room. Just under 8,000 lbs with a GVWR of 11,000 lbs. But my ATV alone sucks up 1,500 lbs of that cargo weight.

A tire pressure management system is way up toward the top of my list. Lose a tire and it takes the fun out of the trip. Forget the el cheapo Amazon TPMS and just get a good one right off the bat. I have a TPS 507 (after two el cheapos).

Also, forget the RV TP. It clogs the tank sensors just as quickly as the good stuff so why not be comfortable.

Don't skimp on the sewer and utility stuff. I would skip the pressure regulator. I have yet to find a campground that has water pressure so high that it needs to be regulated.

As I recall, the PEX pipes in my trailer are rated to 150 PSI. A campground would have to be really far out of spec to come close to that. That said, I do have a pressure regulator that I keep handy.

As I learned the hard way do NOT store the water regulators in the RV over winter.... the ice inside really distorts the regulation !!
