6.4L no crank u0101 Code
Have a truck here that will not crank DPF had went into regeneration then customer stop put in park and vehicle quit. customer says truck told him to stop vehicle. Need some help diaging this one.

It would appear that the issue is not related to the regen, but a simple computer communication issue. It seems normal for a no crank with this code.

Interesting. It is possible that you have a bad ground or connector that caused the issue. It could reappear unless it is found and corrected. Could've been a brain fart in the computer too.
Probably easiest to leave it and see - just don't be too surprised if it returns.
