Oil cooler gaskets

Redoing my oil cooler gaskets and orings. I'd think the metal ones would be better but I've ran across a few people saying the metal ones leak and to use paper. What does FTE say?

I used paper gaskets when I installed my oil cooler and it doesn't leak. Just make sure you get the headers on straight.

Put a little coolant-rated permatex on them so they stick to the headers, it'll make it easier to put on
