Strangely I couldn't find anything in this going through pages of search results. Maybe it's not a big issue.
I've noticed some clunking from driver's door going over large bumps etc. Also I've notices on uneven surfaces that there's quite a bit of movement between door and body
Seems like maybe the latch mechanism is worn. I didn't detect any looseness in the hinge area.
Has anyone had this problem and resolved it, or do I just need to get a new latch and post?
I would suspect the door seal around the perimeter of the door is worn out. We are finding this to be the case on our Excursions over in the X forum. Members are replacing that rubber seal and yelling "Eureka!"

I do notice some wear on the seal, but assumed that was a symptom of the door moving not the cause. Still might be worth it.Is the seal common with f150, or unique to Expedition/Navigator?
