Brakes

Hey guys, my truck is ready for some brake work. I was wondering how easy it is to do this myself on a 2000 F150 4x4.... Do I need special tools and such, or is it pretty easy? Would I be better off taking it a shop? If I do go ahead and take care of it myself, what kind of pads should I get? The new ceramic ones? I have a good load on farily often and tow occasionally... Any advice here would be a huge help guys. Thanks,

Barry

Brakes

Try a search of this forum, I think you will find several threads about changing the brakes. No, you don't need any special tools, it's a pretty straight forward job so long as the rotors haven't rusted to the hub. I would recommend having your rotors checked for thickness and warpage if you do it yourself.
