Help with bezel restoration

Hi Everyone,

I’m restoring the bezel to my 1957. Today, I sandblasted the part at work, but I’ve noticed a lot of these rust spots that almost look like weld splatter. Any suggestions or best practices on how I should sand them off?

I would jump on the internet and get yourself a nice, used replacement. They are not hard to find and you may save yourself some money in the process.
