Ive owned truck for about a month now. Dont know history , but a ford reman transmission done 10 years ago. I think the front end has a little too much drift from side to side and looks like it still has original shocks. 2000 F350 4x4 SRW supercab. Will new shocks help this problem?

What do you mean drift from side to side?
If any other steering or suspension components are worn they will need to be addressed as well.
Sorry. By drift, I mean play from side to side with steering wheel. Driving down road i am having to move steering from about the 11:00 position to the 1:00 position to keep straight on road. I have had front end checked and everything is tight, but was told to keep eye on front leaf spring has some wear at the shackle.
Now, the drifting sounds like you need to also consider TRE, BJ's, Bushings etc. Are you seeing weird tire wear? You can try tightening your steering gear box to take some play out of it. There's plenty of good videos on YouTube. Before you start adjusting it use a paint pen and mark the box, nut and center adjusting screw, this way you have a reference point and can go back to it. Small adjustments 1/8 -1/4 turn at a time.
