On top of my 302 intake there is the port for vacuum lines and mine seems to have the regular 3 red ones and the one for the brake energizer and an extra port on top that is larger than the small ones and smaller than the brake energizer
look at the pic with with the red lines. See that one T off? You should post your model and year for better help. Sandy
That rubber plug doesn't look like anything has been in it for a while. Have any codes?

it is a 1995 f150 4x4 automatic w/ 302
it's OBD I so I havnt ordered a reader yet.
oh yeah and the oil pressure gauge always reads at high and I've replaced the sensor and I don't know if that is vacuum operated either.
Vinny, so that line looks like his goes to the cruise, unless he doesn't have cruise. If not should it be plugged like the picture.? I assume the auto t line with a/c would be also be plugged if you had a manual with no a/c?

Yes on all counts...
I'm not familiar with 1995 options....

This came out of one of my EVTM's, it is a fairly generic page, and should apply to your 1988.
This is an example; you can find them for under $20 if you are patient...
So I guess I should just plug it cause I just bought it and it came like that and so far that's what I've done and it's been working fine. Thanks for the diagrams and the pictures cause there wasn't much info online.
about the holes in the firewall do those just go to some after market setup

Yeah, plug it for now, because it is a vacuum leak.
Well, if you have vacuum controlled Heat/Air C, those holes could be related. Maybe someone with an 1995 can shed some light on that...
yeah I've got a 96 and there weren't any holes in that one eithor but there is a trailer brake that didn't have any wires to it so that might be what they go to and I think he used to have a tach in there too.
