It's been a long time since posting and reading here. I guess that no news is good news.
But I hit a curb real hard in my '99 2WD F250. The left front shock is now leaking. I had replaced the OE shocks with Edelbrocks but do not see them listed any longer at the Edelbrock web page.
What shock would you all recommend now? I'm a real old guy that uses the truck mostly as a daily driver, but do trailer my Kubota (2000 lbs) now and then with a 10,000 rated skidsteer trailer.
Stock tires and wheels? Ranchos or Bilsteins. I prefer the Bilsteins myself. 4600s are fine since you do not indicate a lift. With a slight lift, then the 5100s.
Bigger/heavier than stock tires? Fox 2.0. That is what I will have to put on my truck as soon as I can afford them. And a new front stabilizer. Does not sound like you need them, though many report a much better ride with them.
