Well been on here a little while now and been looking around. First ford I have ever gotten to fix up and get running. I have always been a chevy guy but I got the opportunity to get this ford and figured why not? So I kind of fell into this by accident when I bought some property a few years ago and just happen to get the truck with it at the time. It had been sitting for a long time and I never bothered with it till about six months ago and decided to try and get a title for it. It's been a long battle but I am close to having it now so I started getting it back on the road to recovery. It had things missing and disconnected and some things still aren't right. I was going to take some time and get it going but life happens and now it is going to be my dd real soon. I'll keep everyone posted on the progress as I go but being winter time here in northern Nevada you never know what the weather is going to do.
It's easy till you come across a 4wd F150 (1/2 ton) SC with factory front leaf springs, in stead of coils and radius arms. Or some one swaps steering knuckles and rotors from a 8 lug onto a F150.
77&79F250, I have come across something like that a couple of times when I used to deliver mufflers and exhaust parts. Mostly down in Mississippi.
The lug configuration was both 5 and 8 lug.
