them 6.0 trucks are great to pick up for vehicles to swap other engine types in, they usually are in great shape body wise since they are sitting waiting for repairs instead of being driven.

My somewhat recently acquired '92 E350 has a 7.3 IDI. Right now, I can't get it to start. I plan on getting new batteries with hopes that will fix things. Next step will be to remove the blasted alarm system and stupid stereo the DPO installed which I'm 99% certain is causing the battery drain. And install a battery tender...

Just got home this morning with our "new" 94 turbo f350! drove it home from Missouri to Indiana and I could not be happier with it at this point! 200,000 original miles, was originally an OK state highway truck, cam with a whole slew of new already installed parts and extra parts including a trans thats suppose to be good, starter, fan, alternator and a lot more in the back with it! Im hoping to put a ton of miles on this ol girl, shes my first hotshot truck other than my flareside that i started in. Oh, and its completely stock mechanically, not even an aftermarket intake YET!

Was out of town for a week, and came back to all the goodies.

Banks full size downpipe, turbo rebuild kit, turbo install kit, oil cooler rebuild kit, later model bed tie downs, Peterbuilt wiper arm mounted spray nozzles (going to give these a shot and delete my sad-*** cowl mounted sprayer).

Now if the weather would just to cooperate so I can get some work done! Not having a real garage/shop to work out of is a pain when winter comes back with a vengeance!

My 1989 7.3 is mothballed for the Vermont winter but once the roads are clean again it will come back out. Has 165xxx miles and all stock and no rust.

Well to be on topic with this thread. My old IDI is not dead yet. Still getting the job done over 32 years after rolling off the assembly line. Original engine and transmission, although 4x4 converted.

I think the purpose of this Thread is to say "I'm not dead yet". Well... I am not dead yet

My Truck as I bought it.

My Truck putting it 3000 miles to Missouri and back. Still 4x2 at this point.

My Truck, now 4x4 getting a light day in.

My tuck having to work for a living finally. My god she needs a car wash.

32 Years of being on the Job... not too old yet. Gonna keep this thing for as long as I can rebuild it.
