I'm looking for a left front slack adjuster for a 1950. I know they are listed
being a fine spline with the square adjusting bolt on the top. Just thinking
someone has one in their junk box. Odd enough most have course splines.
No hurry too cold anyways....guess when the ice melts in July will buy a new
one, but who knows.....
I’m surprised it has front brakes. They weren’t mandatory until the 70’s...
Afaik, front brakes were always on 4x2's, optional omit/delete on 6x4's for tractors, also had a front brake regulator valve on the steering column. Some trucks had them mounted in the dash.
Yes S cams. The reason is previous owner took it for another truck he had...And the
Bendex website has a gazziloion listed problem is , its all Bendex numbers I have
the Ford number which does no good. It looks like any run of the mill adjuster, but
has fine spline............
Does this look like it will work?
