I flew home 12/31 and my 6.7 remote started with no issues at a relatively balmy temp of 3F. I went no where yesterday. This morning I woke up to -18F. I don't have the block heater and I've not added any anti-gel, though I plan to stop at my dealer and grab some now that I'm home. If the truck won't start this morning, is it bad to try later to start? I don't have to go in to work right away, so should I leave it alone until later in the day when it's slightly warmer? Not sure what I should do.
It will likely start without issue. The fuel is probably winter blend. My 2012 started right up at -27 with no additive and the block heater unplugged on a sledding trip up in Maine.
Well, it won't start. It's now 3F, and I've tried remote start and sitting in truck with foot on brake. Ignition tried, but it won't catch. Suggestions?
