my front ABS is having issues and until nicer weather gets here so i can actually work on it, i would like to disable it. i imagine pulling the fuse would make other things not work that need to, but how bout unplugging the module? where would i find it? driver side towards the frame under hood?
just so you know the reason, when i get to slick roads and the ABS engages, it seems like it doesnt engage fully, i have hard pedal, and feels like the front wheels have no brakes at all. all other times the brakes are normal, feel tight and right. i grew up with old trucks and no ABS, so id rather have no ABS than this running right thru stop signs i have going on now. all help appreciated
There are three (3) fuses involved. One indirect, two directly. Would suggest pulling the 60 amp first, then the 10 amp. Example diagrams attached. If you pull the 10 fuse in the CJB it will affect the other devices listed.
thank you so much. pulled the 60A fuse and all is good( cept the light being on)
my truck was broke into last year and they stole my manual, so i didnt even have a clue where to start for the fuses.
