That’s another I can’t make, gotta be in Houston the 17th, because of the new limitations on my right arm I’ll be retraining to do controls for 2 months. They’re gonna let the old gear head chase “TRONS”. My boss thinks it’s a great idea as I know the engines, generator, all the auxiliaries and support systems so I can make them play well together.

Guess I gotta brush up on the “Theory of Elephants”.

So that’s one for the 8th, one for the 22nd. I’m more likely to make the 8th, but can pencil in the 22nd too. I know I suggested both dates, but life happens.

I'm over at Rod Run in Long Beach the weekend of the 8th. I could do a pancake run the 22nd as things stand now, pending having a working Ford =P

Ex is all put together today, but Ranaway found the radiator leaking after everything went back together, so a new one from Performance Radiator will go in Monday and then I can have my rig back! There are one or two injectors we're going to keep an eye on, as they are a bit blacker than the others. I left it to Torin's judgement and if the time comes for injectors I'm sure I'll #SendIt and go bigger so I can stage 2 the turbo, cuz I'm an addict that puts aside logic regarding reliability/maintenance when it comes to having a KICK *** AWESOME TRUCK I CAN BRAG ABOUT - cuz, ya know.. badass trucks are awesome...

I also finally decided to part/scrap the V10, so we hauled it off to Turbo's house to have more room to rip stuff off for our green excursions before we sell/scrap the rest.

The green 6.0 work order is currently as follows - they started Monday and had everything back together Thursday, the radiator being the unforeseen exception.
ARP Stud Kit with all updates
-heads went to the machine shop, not sure if they got o-ring'd, I keep forgetting to ask
BPD Heavy Duty Remote Oil Cooler
BPD 7.3 fan clutch adapter kit
HPOP
ICP
Up Pipes
Exhaust manifold went to the machine shop - turns out previous owners tried to weld things together and so we're properly fixing their janky fix
Electronic Fuel PSI gauge plumed into the cab and I'll get a gauge myself
Oil pan, gasket, and hardware - turns out it was in pretty bad shape
Radiator
Serpentine belt
Delo Oil
ELC coolant

I know removing the body is part of the process, but that still gives me a pucker seeing it up on a lift like that. Hope we can check it out after pancakes!

Happy Friday everyone.

The Ex has been parked with issues or in the shop for more than a month - you have no idea how stoked I am to be back in my big rig again. Especially with all that work done - I'm ready to throw the hammer down in that bad boy =)

I actually really just want to be able to tow over to my beach lot without paying 600+ for a rental Duramax...

It’s taken two weeks to order parts for my elliptical and I’m going nuts. A month without my truck would put me over a cliff.

Going crabbing in a few minutes...I’ve heard to catch is good this year, so hopefully I can pay off my license.

Well if it does not then you will be in a bad mood.
Then all the people around you will have all the crab they can deal with.
Just not the yummy kind.

Good luck on the crabbing trip.

haha, good one! We got six crabs and the pots are soaking again. Hopefully another few tomorrow.

Even in crappy weather, it’s a good day when you get out in a boat.

Well if everyone wants to know how hard my day sucked take a look at this link.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1552916-why-me.html

The up side is I was not hurt but can't say that for 2 of the other cars passengers.

Buckley, Wa had construction projects there that were contributing factors to the backup
I was stuck in.

Well that sucks. Wish people would pay a bit more attention to the road and their surroundings when driving.

Someone asked if he fell asleep or not and I never did hear the answer to that.
