trailer sticker/trailer reverse guidance

so i hooked up my conventional hitch flatbed tandem axle trailer for the first time to my 17 lariat. i was prompted for a bunch of measurements. i didn't take the time to find the "sticker" that is supposed to be in my quick start guide according to the owners manual. (but will at some point) anyways, i still played around with the cameras and backing, etc. i am admitedly a terrible trailer backer upper. lol.
i guess my question is: has anyone used the provided "sticker" and plugged in the measurements? and what exactly would that do? how would it help? what camera settings do any of you use that makes backing a trailer easier?

nc - backing up skill is just a matter of practice. and patience. go slow, and use one hand at the bottom of the steering wheel. Move that hand in the direction you want the trailer to go.. if you want more trailer in your passenger mirror, move your hand that way. More in your drivers mirror, move your hand toward the drivers door. And don't be afraid to pull ahead and start over.

as for the sticker and measurements, I didn't bother on my one bumper pull. What it does is provides guidance on the camera screen to show you which way to move the steering wheel to get to "straight". The other measurements (trailer length and such) are there to allow the BLIS to work when driving if you have BLIS.

I went through the process on our toy hauler. It helps you back by showing a graphic representing trailer angle and how close you are to jackknifing. The main benefit is that it uses the side cameras to show you what is alongside the trailer.

I would suggest what Xwild said. Leave the assists behind. Practice backing, maybe in an open lot or elsewhere. At minimum get close, then use the assists to keep you out of trouble. Pulling forward and starting over is your biggest friend (assuming your mirrors are adjusted correctly).
