Need to buy new batteries for my truck..
#31
I have had good luck with the Interstate battery that I put in my civic......it has to be 6 or 7 years old and turned the car over just fine in negative temps the other day.
My truck currently has two Die Hard batteries in it.....they were there from the previous owner and I have had the truck 4 years now and no problems.......I have no idea how old they are as I can't find a date code. I had them checked last year when I had starting problems and CCA's were at spec or higher. I ended up needing a starter.
Get the Super Duty starter if you need one. Go and get the batteries and starter tested and then you will know if you need either of the two.
My truck will start in negative temps without being plugged in, does it like it....hell no but it will if I need it to. I usually plug it in when below 30 degrees for a couple hours.
