front axle identification help
1960 f100.....can someone let me know what the part number is on their f100 1/2 ton. I have a chance to buy one but I don't know if it will fit. My truck is not near me. Thanks

These are part numbers, will not be marked on the axles, as numbers marked on axles would be ID engineering numbers.
B7C-3010-A .. Front Axle / Obsolete ~ 1957 F100/250.
B8C-3010-A .. Front Axle / Obsolete ~ 1958 F100/250; 1959/60 F100/250 2WD
B7C-3010-A .. Front Axle / Obsolete ~ 1957 F100/250.

The stamped # on the axle I’m interested in is Taak~3010( a symbol of a diamond ) 7 AP. If those are engineering numbers how can you determine if the used part you are looking at will work on your truck? Do you just have to have a known truck part for comparison or known measurement?
