I recently purchased a 1979 Ford F-100 Custom from my father. The truck is in need of MINOR body work and a coat of paint. It has a new rebuilt 302 and runs great! I want to "sport" it up a bit, but I can't seem to find a catalog online that offers accessory parts for it, such as custom tube grills, chrome parts/bumpers, etc.. If anyone can help me out on this, please do. Thanks.
I have the same truck with everything you want on it only I have a 300 that's origional. Only 119,880 miles runs great. I bought it off my friend I think he got the chrome rims from pep boys. They're great looking. As for the crome around the grill and lights I'm unsure where he got that. It looks great tho. The front bumper's chrome the back one isn't good luck. Hopefully you have as much fun with it as my friend did hooking it up.

To me, there is no better looking truck than a '78 or '79 F-100, with a new grille shell, new crome grille and new chrome headlight doors, square headlights of course. NOS Ford or Original Ford tooling parts. Personally, that looks better than any aftermarket type grille. Hope to be able to repaint my '78 F-100 and do the same treatment. Right now I'm tubing up exhaust for the 351Cleveland 4V. My '92 F150 ext cab driver has a sick E4OD, I think the '78 will go without the treatment for awhile. Got 1 great wife, 3 great sons, 1 good job, 0 extra money!
