Smile Who owns the most 73-79 Ford trucks?

I was wondering who out there owns the most 73-79 Ford trucks. Please, include only trucks that run and drive, No parts trucks. I currently own 4 of them, a 73 F100 Custom, a 77 F100 Custom stepside, a 78 F150 Ranger Lariat, and a 79 F100 Custom shortbed. I love 73-79 Ford trucks. They are definetly the best trucks ever made! I think it would be really cool to have one from each year from 73-79.

79------BEST YEAR EVER BUILT.... JUST MY HUMBLE OPINION

5 right now.

1977 F-150 4x4. Haven't decided what I want to do with it yet. Cheap enough for a parts truck, but clean enough to put together. It runs and drives as is, but is shaky.

1977 F-250 Supercab 4x4. My baby. Driving right now, but getting ready for major restore.

1978 F-150 4x4. Just brought this home. Some minor body work needed. Bought to drive while my F-250 is off the road.

1979 F-150 4x4 short bed. Nice shape. For sale.

1979 Bronco. Wife's truck. Fully restored on 35s.

+ a couple of parts truck.

Just listed some.

Zac,

The short bed that is for sale is in real nice shape. It has a fresh coat of bright red on it. It has a 400 (out of a 76 LTD), C-6, 205 part time transfer case. The 400 has an Edelbrock 4bbl intake and carb along with headers. It is set up with dual exhuast exiting behind each rear wheel. It has 3.50 gears. It has 33 12.50 tires on chrome spoke rims. The tires are about half tread and the wheels have some rust on them. It has a new booster and new mastercylinder. The interior is black and red. The door panels are red and woodgrain and are nice. The bench seat is black and nice. It has a slider and CD player. It has a drop in bedliner installed. I am sure there are a few things I am missing, but that covers most. The truck is located in PA (Erie). I am asking $2900 O.B.O.

To many to list.

23 here.

2 73 F150's
3 74 F150's
2 75 F150's
5 77 F150's
8 78 F150's
3 79 F150's

All of them run, all of them are Ford™ Blue and all of them have 460's. My latest one, a 79, is the only one that isnt blue yet, havent gotten around to painting it yet.

I also have:

5 70 F150's
3 71 F150's
4 72 F150's

I only buy F150's from years since I was born. I also only buy ones that are or are about to turn into classics. I retrofit them all with 460's (my favorite engine). I try to drive them all at least once a month. I have a standing deal with a local salvage yard for any F150's that come in with good frames and for any 460's that have good blocks. I usually pick up 2-3 of them a year.

Man, I wish I had 23 73-79 Ford trucks! Maybe someday, if I ever win the lottery! Actually, If I won the lottery, what I'd like to do is get 10 trucks from each year of the 73-79 body style and start the 73-79 Ford Truck Museum! I would get all of the really cool ones-79 Indy Pace truck, a couple of 77-79 free-wheeling specials, a couple of F350 Super Camper Specials, a few stepsides, etc.

I have a 75' F150 custom. It has a 360 2V now with 98,000 original miles. Only major problem is the valve seats are beat up pretty bad and has low compression in 2 cylinders from unleaded gas. I have a 66' 390 thunderbird special that going to find a new home under the hood after I get her freshened up. Overall in nice shape. Still has AM radio, owners manual and bias ply spare hanging under the rear......... lol
