1976 f350 flatbed

i have a 76 f350 flatbed that needs a new behind the seat fuel tank. The only place I’ve found that sells is LMC truck and they only have it for the 1972 f-250 and older. Thus the question is,does the 1972 behind the seat fuel tank for an f-250 the same as for the 76 -350?
Single cab. 390, 4 speed.
Amd yes, Ford did produce behind the seat fuel tank models in 76, but only for flatbed trucks. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

My thought is that they will be similar enough to make it work, might ask the people in the forum for the older year BUMPSIDE trucks if they know or if they could get you some pictures that you can use to compare to your own.

Gas Tanks | Dennis Carpenter Ford Restoration Parts

this page shows two tanks, looking like the difference is the length of the fill tube, and one appears to have an extra spout. Good pictures might help you.

Carpenter listed the wrong applications (as usual!) and a fuel tank capacity. There is no in-cab tank listed (there are 2 different ones) for 1973/77* both are obsolete and AFAIK, no one reproduces either.

The following is correct:

D0TZ-9002-A (replaced C1TZ-9002-K) .. 19.5 Gallon In-Cab Fuel Tank.

1961/66 F100/700; 1963/69 N/NT500/750; 1967/69 F800/1000; 1967/72 F100/750 (except as noted below).

This tank is reproduced by Blue Oval Truck Parts (Anaheim CA) that sells it to the other repro parts sellers and the general public.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
D1TZ-9002-A .. 18.5 Gallon In-Cab Fuel Tank.

1971/72 F100 with the Evaporative Emission system.
-----------------------------------------------------------
*1973/77 in-cab fuel tanks: F250 4WD (High Boys) & F350/750 Cab & Chassis.

D3TZ-9002-F .. 19.5 Gallon In-Cab Fuel Tank-Use without Evaporative Emission / Obsolete

D3TZ-9002-G .. 18 Gallon In-Cab Fuel Tank-Use with Evaporative Emission / Obsolete

NumberDummy or anybody,
do you know how this tank mounts at the bottom?
i See some threaded holes in the floorboard behind the seat, but no holes in the back wall of the cab toward the bottom to bolt to. I can see that it mounts to the back of the cab at the top of the tank, but I don’t see how it mounts at the bottom. Maybe I’m missing a bracket of some sort in the bottom behind the seat that the tank mounts to? Thank you.
