cab and bed issues

Hello everyone, i m new to this site, actually i m new to ford trucks to . Always had Ram but my last one was such a lemon i decided to jump ship. So here is my issue, truck is 6 moths old and for the past 2 months i noticed the outside noise from the driver side door was getting louder and louder. Today i noticed that the bottom of the door is about 1/2 inch away from the rest of the bottom of the cab and the bed is 1 -1/2 inches more to the passenger side of the cab. Has anyone else have issues like this? Dealer wants to send the truck to a body shop. Never had a accident. Truck is a 2017 f250 diesel crewcab. Thanks

My F250 is almost two months old and I noticed right away that the passenger side bed and passenger side cab are almost perfect aligned when you look from the passenger rear corner towards the front. The driver side is off by at least a 1/2"- 3/4". My brothers' truck (which is a 2017 like mine) is exactly like mine.

Had to have my cab and bed realigned at the dealerships body shop. After the shop manager did some measuring they found the cab not to be centered on the truck. It was an easy fix and I actually watched them do it. They just unbolted the cab and shoved it over a little. Then re-snugged all the cab bolts it wasn't a huge deal.

I saw a similar thread a while back, checked my cab to bed alignment on my August 17 build and it's perfect. Guess I got lucky.

Mine is the same. About a 1/2” out on the drivers side. I took some measurements and found that its the cab that is off. Been thinking about just fixing it myself.

This was a big issue with some of the 2015 F-150's as well. I haven't read any ore complaints since then.

wow thanks for all the replys, i ll have the dealer realigne the cab but do you think that would also fix the door? The fact that the door doesn’t seal properly is getting on my nerves.
