Anyone got a picture and any info about a digital radio that were in some 70's trucks?

This is the digital am radio I put in my 78. My dad had one and I always thought it was neat. They were in Pintos too. There is one for sale on eBay.

Think it was the only way you could get a clock in one from the factory, could be wrong.
