me guys, I have a 79 Bronco with a 400, 3 spd Auto, I bought it about 2 years ago at an auto pawn shop. I tuned it up a bit and got it to pass emission's. It has an Edlebrock intake and 4 brl Carb, runs like a bat out of hell. The interor is rough, but I'm working on it. I have looked at a lot of the Pic's in the albums but have yet to notice, a roll bar. Mine has what appears to be a factory installed roll bar that does not interfer with the top goning on or off. Is this normal? This is the only Bronco I have ever owned or even rode in. I hope to get a few pic's posted soon.
The factory roll bar was an option till I think 86 but is somewhat rare. Sounds like you found yourself a good truck there. As for the interior if you want to spif it up a bit try rhinolining the floor and bedwalls then getting a carpet kit and installing it. There are replacement panels avalible for your rig but you can also make some using some aluminum or fiberboard with headliner material on them. Seats if the frame is in good condtion can be reupulstered pretty cheaply if you know the right people if not aftermarket racing seats are nice and confortable but they dont recline.
