I’d be interested for others to share any of their experiences. I’ve experienced:
1: Occasionally the courtesy lights don’t come on after shutting down the truck,
2: Occasionally traction control shows disabled until I cycle the ignition,
3: Occasionally won’t make hands free voice activated calls.
These things seldom happen, but have happened more than once on all three issues. Just curious to see if anyone else’s truck does random, wierd stuff.
Are you towing when the Traction Control disables itself? It's happened to me on loose terrain while towing a 9k# trailer when I forgot to engage the tow haul.
I've had the same issues with #2 and #3. Only happened once or twice, but still very odd. Never thought much about it, but I have seen others have similar issues. I wonder what it could be. Faulty sensors? Software glitches? Possible TSB coming down the road from Ford?.....

Nope. I thinks it’s happened three times now, all with no trailer and no load. Once I thought it might have been caused by snow and slush fouling a wheel sensor, but the next time the truck was clean and dry on a sunny day. Wierd. Cycle the ignition once and the problem resolves itself.
Only little glitches I've had seem to be with the Sync system / Bluetooth. It'll randomly loose connection to my iPhone when streaming music, or making a call. Haven't been able to narrow down though if its the Sync or my phone. Its happened 3-4 times now in 2 months.
I have been trying to diagnose an electrical problem on my 2017 F350. The front passenger turn signal (just the front),sometimes drops out. This only happens when my snowplow is hooked up to the truck. The side and back work fine. No snowplow;everything works OK.
I did find a TSB-- ( Q-269R1 ) that references ( Erratic operation of electrical features with snowplow and other high electrical load devices.
It references built before April 08.2017.
Also solution references TSB-17-0043 for service.
I haven't checked with dealer on my problem as yet, May help with yours.
These kind of gremlins are nearly impossible to solve. Similar situation; not my 2017 SD but my girlfriends 2017 Escape. Know the noises the truck makes when turning on **doo doo doo**, it chimes three times repeatedly with key in/door open. And the reverse sensor beeps? Each model has its own sounds, meaning the super duties sound different than the escapes. However every once in a while her escape makes the super duty noises, which she immediately notices aren't right. Weird - but goes to show that the software clearly has multiple options programmed in and can absolutely go wacky on you. Dealer couldn't figure it out!

Totally agree. As long as none of it triggers a CEL I can live with the extra bit of “personality” from the truck. I guess that’s what you can get in a modern vehicle running everything off a CAN-BUS with miles of ribbon cables and a processor from a Nintendo 64. But hey, that’s what makes programs like Forscan possible too.
