I have done the V/B mod, skyjacker m95 shocks in the front and monroe reflex shocks in the rear.
I feel as though it sits nose-down quite a bit, and also I still feel the front is a little soft/bouncy.
Should I be looking at firmer shocks, or doing an add a leaf in the front, or just a piece of a leaf to bring the nose up a bit?
What have yall done to yours?
Shocks will not raise it in the front but it could cause your "soft/spongy" feeling. I only use Bilstein shocks. No offense, but skyjacker is not known for high quality. What brand springs did you use?
My ex sat the same way after I replaced the springs with V&modded B. Went back and put the stock leaf (it was the last loose one) from the rear in the front and that helped. It still sits a little higher in the rear but when I put a trailer on it sits flat.
I used ford springs from the wreckers. The v-codes were like new, the rear b-codes had a lot of surface rust but in much better shape than they appeared. I could not have asked for a better ride in the rear, very happy with it. Just the front seems a little off/soft. Not sure how much firmer a bilstien would be compared to a M95 in the front?? And also not sure if I need a firmer shock or just a bit more spring.? An adjustable shock maybe?

You are talking about 2 seperate issues.
The "soft/bouncy" is a shock issue. Solution, use a shock with firmer valving
"Nose down" is simply a ride height height issue and there are several solutions to that depending on what you are trying to accomplish.
Step on, Measure each corner of the vechile from the center of the wheel him to the bottom of the fender arch and post your results.
Once we know the actual measurements also let use know how you would like it to sit appearance wise but also how you intend to load and or tow with it.
Well after a couple weeks of driving I would say I am looking for a slight lift in the front. Too much "rake" for my liking. I would say like a 1/2" or 1" lift in the front would be perfect. And what shock part# from bilstien is recommended? Not looking for harsh ride but firm enough to notice an improvement from the M95. The M95's are wonderful on the highway but feel too soft/body rollish when going over large bumps or even smooth dips in the road. havent had a chance to measure anything yet.
