Overheating Nightmare

I have a 2000 5.4 f250. I have replaced: T-stat, water pump, flushed the system, new coolent temp sensor, and new fan clutch and burped it for almost 2 hours. Still says it' getting hot after about 45 ish min. Driving. But drops back down to normal when i rev it. Could it be a fan relay? Any help would be greatly appericated!

If you have access to a laser thermometer use it on the t-stat housing to verify the temperature. The engine might not really be getting hot, it could be a bad gauge.

I traded in an F250 that would show that it was overheating whenever I used outside AC in the summer. Max AC, and it ran fine. Tried everything you did.

Electrical bug somewhere. The engine was hot, but not boiling or bubbling at all.

when you burped your cooling system did you have the heater on? are you burping the cooling system on level ground?

Is there mud in the rad between the fins? Have you tried pressure washing the rad through the grill? If the air can’t flow through the rad, it can’t cool your engine.
