SOTF switch help, EZ-Lynk PPEI tunes

I can't seem to get any tune changes when using the SOTF switch I installed today. My app says it stays on tune 1 the entire time. As far as I can tell, the wires were installed correctly. I pressed the tiny button on the back of the switch and got a single red LED flash. I can't find out what that means and it hasn't happened since. Anyone else have difficulty changing tunes with SOTF?

Do you have a sotf tune installed? Mine shows the change instantaneously on the app

Edit are you sure you have the pins secured in connector?

As far as I can tell they are in there snugly. They protrude through the housing about 3/8" and I tugged on them pretty good to check, they didn't come back out. The wires kind of snapped into place.

I downloaded the second power level option. Maybe my switch isn't working? It would be nice if I could test it. That little button on the back does something I'm sure. I may have to just call PPEI on Monday.

Edit: The tune I downloaded says SOTF is required, so I definitely grabbed the correct one.

Did you double check to make sure the correct pins are in the correct holes?

I dodnt have to do anything with the button on my switch after the install. It just worked

I did not double check. I'll do that in the morning. I thought I was paying attention when I put them in there, but I've made mistakes like that before. I appreciate your help!

the button will make the tiny light on the back light up when in position 1 and it will be dimmer as you move up and very dim if any light at all in the ast position. the paperwork says if this is hows your button works then it is probably hooked up correctly.

Where or what changes in the app when you select the different power levels?

Mine doesn't work that way. It only flashed once the first time I pushed the button. I can't get it to come on any more regardless of the switch position. I'll try messing with the pins again inside the plug, maybe I still have it wrong.

Crisis averted, I found out what was wrong. When connecting the SOTF plug to the engine harness, one of the wires was not seating itself. It was being pushed out of the plug as the two halves came together. It wasn't noticeable until I felt the wire meet resistance and stop moving as I pushed the plug in. Got that fixed, and now I can switch to different power levels like I'm supposed to. Thanks for all the help.

That red LED light still doesn't come on though, I'm not worrying about it.
