Been doing some cab corner and rocker panel replacement on my old ford, thanks for everyone's help so far! Before I dive in head first and fully commit, I wanted to cover all my bases here. I'm not looking for a show truck by any means, but like most of you, I want to restore it to to a better condition than it is currently. I love the two tone look of the brown and white and wanted to do a more inexpensive alternative to painting the whole cab to color match. I've got rust free nos fenders and the patch panels I've welded in to color match, my question is, can I use the factory paint code to order a rattle can equivalent as alternative to getting the whole thing blended in, and if so, any recommendations? I feel once I get a good skim job on the rockers and cab corners with bondo and block sand it smooth, I'd like to repaint to protect the new metal and not be so hideous with the 3-4 tones of edp and primer I've added to the current two tone! Once again, not looking for a show truck, just something that someone can't walk up and say "I see you've welded in patch panels!"
Check your local automotive paint store. Ours will make a spray can of your desired color paint. You can try the local parts store, but they only carry the common latest colors.

Interesting! I've never heard of that before. I'm not even sure if I have a local automotive paint store though.
