Hey guys i went into forscan and saw the option to turn the DRL off. I went through all of the options. The one I settled with it turned off the top headlight and just the bottom one comes on in drive.i really want to have them completly off. I've seen it done before but never got to talk to the owners.
I don't think the dash option exists in Canada, you have to use ForScan to make the change. Can someone confirm? I've got LED's, no option within the dash to turn off the DRL.
hmmmm i wonder if thats why i dont have the option to disable the headlights since my truck was a canadian truck before i bought it. That option might not be enabled. since my truck is at the dealership today i called and asked if they could shut the DRL off and i was advised that it should be in the dash options as well but I told them it wasnt so they are going to look into it.
I'm sure there is, or some kind of a regional setting?
I was imagining kind of like the way we can enable the navigation destination entry while moving but the speed limit signs change to European on the display.

It's probably a good idea to avoid distracted driving. That's the one thing I miss on the new truck vs. my BMW X5 that I had previous...you could enter destinations while driving via iDrive. At least in the Sync system if you use Apple CarPlay you can still enter the locations.
