I have found a F 350 4x4 6.0 L diesel has 151,000 miles front end work done.
Comes with a Forest river 32 foot Fifth wheel camper both are 2006. The guy wants 20,000 dollars pic look good. Have brother looking at soon. Was wondering if anyone think too high of price!
My friends and myself used to play the 6.0 game. It just doesn't usually work out well in the end. My experience will recommend walk away and look for a 6.2 or 6.7 if staying with Ford, therefore, the price is too high.
The 6.0 trucks can be good trucks if they are taken care of, but if you get one that hasnt been taken care of or some guy beat hard you and your wallet could be in for a hell of a ride
Where is the truck at that your planning on buying it from ( little car/truck lot at a Ford or other big dealer? if it is at a little lot, pull a carfax or car proof on that VIN and see where that truck came from some guys curb trucks and much like little lot dealers buy trucks at the auction and they dont put too much into them because it is buy low and sell high and do as little as possible to any vehicle they buy to max out profit.
Ask the seller to allow you to take it to a Ford Dealer and have them inspect it. Get Ford to look under and over the truck and inspect everything and then have them check out everything with IDS on the engine, compression, injectors, boost, temps ficm etc It may cost you a couple hundred to have a dealer inspect and test it but it could save you thousands down the road and you dont want someone else's problem child

check for leaks....walk around it on the corners there will be some trim covering a screw rail....you can peal the plastic/rubber trim back and look t the screws. If they are rusted then its been leaking.
walk all floors especially in the corners....hop up and down “not jump” feel for weak spots in the floor..
push on the wal boards again especially in the corners check for weakness fro water.....

And take a ladder and get up on the roof of that trailer, check around the a/c cover and make sure it isnt cracked or damaged, check all the seams and around vents and pipes etc and make sure the areas where there is silicone or rubber around those items that it isnt dried out or cracking and no places where it look like water could have leaked, if you spot big cracks or places where it looks like water could have got in, make sure to go into the trailer and look around that area where you think that could have leaked inside of the trailer and see if there is any water damage or sign that there may have been a leak
